NIGERIA LOCALISATION FRAMEWORK

  • Manual, toolkits and guidance
  • 2019
  • West and Central Africa

This document presents the framework to ensure locally-led humanitarian interventions in Nigeria. It was developed as a result of lessons learned by all stakeholders involved in the humanitarian action in Nigeria in the last 3-4 years. It will significantly shape the response of all stakeholders in the years ahead, especially in forging the partnerships that are most conducive to localisation. It was developed with support from the Accelerating Localisation through Partnerships - a consortium of INGOs working with NNGOs - led by Christian Aid and funded by the European Commission’s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO).
